Ellis Hollow
Ellis Hollow Farm has 12 home acres and uses many acres of grazing land in the neighborhood to sustainably produce fine and medium wool in natural brown, black and cream with an occasional ‘red’ lamb fleece. We started raising sheep in the 1960s and 17 years ago started producing Ellis Hollow sheep. These lovely, calm, moderately sized sheep make it a joy to do the daily chores. In addition to daily production work, we enjoy going to sheep and wool festivals where we meet friends from afar and win nice prizes (like champion fleece for medium wool natural colored sheep at the Maryland wool festival).
