Membership – LocalFiber

LocalFiber Membership is open to fiber farmers, fiber artisans and anyone else interested in being involved in our network and/or supporting LocalFiber’s mission. To be a fiber farm Full member you must live in or be based in one of the following counties of Central New York State: Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Chemung, Cortland, Livingston, Madison, Monroe, Onondaga, Ontario, Schuyler, Steuben, Seneca, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne, Yates. We welcome anyone to join as an Affiliate supporter!

Full Member – $25

Only available to people living in our designated county area in Central New York State are eligible to be full members.
Text-based listing in our online LocalFiber Member Directory which will include your name, contact info & address, county, farm/studio/business name and web address,
Can nominate and vote for LocalFiber board members
Access to all LocalFiber events, initiatives, and activities
Member pricing at events, activities, workshops
Added to the “LocalFiber Chat” email list.

Affiliate member – $10

Available to anyone outside of the 14 county LocalFiber area
Text-based listing in our online LocalFiber Affiliate Directory
Not a voting member
Access to some LocalFiber events, initiatives, and activities
Additional fee may be applied to contribute to certain events/activities

Enhanced website profile – $60 (must be a Full Member as well – $25)

LocalFiber Farms and Artisans Profiles present additional information about member businesses. A profile page offers more space to describe your farm/business and what you offer for sale, as well as a space for brand graphics, images of your products, animals, etc. With a LocalFiber Profile page you will have your own localfiber.org web address: https://localfiber.org/YOURBUSINESSNAME. For some members this has served as a valuable home base on the web. Only available to Full Members. Initial set up: $55.
