Angora Rabbit

Originally from Turkey and then Western Europe Angora Rabbits appeared in the U.S. in the early 20th century. They are bred for their long soft wool which can be sheared, combed or plucked. Angora rabbit wool comes in a variety of different colors such as white, tan, brown and even black. Angoras are mainly bred for their wool, which is silky and soft. At only 11 microns in diameter, it is finer and softer than cashmere.
