Daniel Boone Homestead near Birdsboro, PA is having their annual Sheep and Fiber Day on April 27, 2019 from 10-4. Demonstrations of shearing through processing fleece, spinning, and weaving as done in the 18th century will be ongoing throughout the day, as well as, fiber vendors, craftsman, and a fleece sale barn. There will be fleeces for sale that are eligible breeds for the “Shave Em to Save Em” rare breed program through the Livestock Conservancy.
